Competing in 2021? Read this NOW!
HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT
We’re beyond excited to announce that Charles and I are pregnant with our first child. It has been a long, emotional road for us to get here and we cannot believe it’s happening! Our new addition means big changes that will impact bodybuilding clients competing in 2021.
Let’s be honest: being pregnant is a big responsibility! Being a business owner is a big responsibility! I don’t want to let our baby or our athletes down so I’ve had to consider a couple of things as it pertains to the competition suit facet of the business:
We all know that unpredictable things can happen during a pregnancy. I want to be sure that I’ve completed all client stagewear projects well in advance of our due date.
I need to limit glue exposure during pregnancy and therefore limit crystalled stage bikini work.
We’ll need to spend time acclimating to our new family life, so I’ll need to take some time off once the baby arrives.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
At the time of this post update, March 26, 2021, we are not accepting additional stage suit orders for 2021 shows. We will accept custom stagewear orders for 2022 - it’s never too early to plan!
HOW WILL THIS IMPACT YOU?
Current Client Orders:
For those who have already placed orders for 2021 shows, we anticipate completion by May 1st (or sooner depending on your show date). If you’re worried about fit for shows later in 2021, we can make alterations to your suit closer to your show date.
If you’ve placed an order with me that has not yet been fulfilled due to uncertainty in competition dates (Thanks, Covid!), we can make arrangements depending on your individual situation and stage in the design/construction process.
Gift Certificate Holders:
Gift certificates do not expire, so hold on to them for when we’re back from maternity leave!

WHEN WILL WE BE ACCEPTING STAGEWEAR ORDERS AGAIN?
By our initial estimate, and once the baby arrives, we will not be working on competition suits through the end of 2021. Of course this is conservative since we have no idea how a baby will impact our schedule! We will keep you updated via social media, our website/blog, and our mailing list.
